National Advisory Board

Purpose. The National Advisory Board (NAB) brings together nationally recognized leaders in the fields of cancer communications and technology to provide vision and macro-level direction to the Center's research activities.

Membership. Members of the NAB have been selected specifically for their vision, for their knowledge of real-world health, technology, and creative initiatives, and for their significant contributions to the development of new media, communication technologies, and public health interventions.

  • Russell E. Glasgow, PhD - Senior Scientist, Clinical Research Unit, Kaiser Permanente Colorado
  • Abby C. King, PhD - Professor, Health Research & Policy, Stanford University
  • Matthew W. Kreuter, PhD, MPH - Professor, School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis

Activities. The NAB evaluates each Project and the program as a whole for generation of new knowledge, integration of the scientific program, and translation of research findings into useful applications. This Board meets on an annual basis, and members of the Senior Advisory Board and Senior Leadership Committee attend these meetings.
