Create cross-platform CD-ROM versions of nine popular health topics or "channels" from the earlier Michigan Interactive Health Kiosk Demonstration Project.
Residents throughout the State of Michigan.
We will convert the current Michigan Interactive Health Kiosk channels into programs that can be accessed by CD-ROM. This will allow us to distribute the kiosk's health information to even more people in the state of Michigan beyond those who have access to a kiosk. CDs will be distributed to teachers, health educators, or others interested in the program.
CD-ROM 1 will include the following channels:
- Bicycle Helmet Safety
- Breast Cancer
- Smoking Cessation & Prevention
- Prostate Cancer
- Childhood Immunization
CD-ROM 2 will include the following channels:
- Heart Health
- Cancer Prevention
- Exercise
- Nutrition
This project was not a study. There are no findings. The CD-ROMs have been distributed widely throughout Michigan.
