  • Prevention of oral diseases and conditions
  • Referral for dental care
  • Tobacco cessation
  • Pre-screening forms and algorithms
  • Screening forms
  • How to screen and provide preventive advice including tobacco cessation

Each topic is introduced by an individual (reading from a script), highlighting the main points of the topic and what information can be found within the topic. Each topic has sub-menus that provide in-depth training and education. When appropriate, topics include Detroit-area specific information, including local cessation resources and contacts for the Detroit Oral Health Network. Each section has printable fact sheets and worksheets for the provider, as well as handouts that can be given to VODI patients.
