This project is designed to test the effectiveness of cultural and individual tailoring on decisions about HPV vaccines.

Aims +

Aim 1: Understand the perspectives of parents and young adults with regard to barriers to initiating and completing the recommended series of HPV vaccines; and 

Aim 2: Use this understanding to modify VaxFacts-HPV to create VaxFacts Latina.

Participants +

Low-income Hispanic women ages 18-26 and parents of Hispanic females ages 11-17 in a clinic setting. The clinics in this study serve patients in Fort Collins, Fort Lupton, Longmont, Commerce City, Brighton, and Denver, CO.

Intervention +

The project tests the effectiveness of four individually tailored websites (designed for iPad delivery) to address HPV hesitancy for low income Hispanic women.
